Island Whale Festival

From 7-9 July celebrate the annual migration of some of the ocean’s most majestic creatures as the Phillip Island coastal waters play host to Humpback and Southern Right whales making their way north to their winter feeding grounds. The Island Whale Festival is an impressive three day event with plenty of entertaining activities.

  • See what it’s like inside the belly of a whale by climbing a 19 metre inflatable whale
  • Marvel at the works of talented marine and wildlife photographers
  • Go whale spotting from either land or sea and meet a marine biologist at one of the whale lookouts
  • Attend an information session on marine research and plastic reduction.

Convinced? The Phillip Island Whale Festival is on during the popular school holiday period, so don’t leave it too late to book your self-contained accommodation or caravan/camping site.

You’ll have a whale of a time!
